Plein Air Watercolor Workshop Materials
2 brushes…. A medium/larger and a small….e.g. #8 or #10, & #0, 1 or 2
Watercolor paints….I suggest the following Daniel Smith colors, but you can substitute.
Hansa Yellow, New Gamboge, Phthalo Blue, Ultramarine Blue, Pyrol Orange, Quinacridone Burnt Orange, Quinacridone Rose
4 sheets of 7x10 heavy water color paper. More advanced students may want to use larger paper...e.g. 11x15 (I suggest Arches #300 cold press. You can use 140#, but it will warp when wet)
Pencil and white eraser
Pilot Razor Point Pen - Black
Small folding palette with wells and mixing area….(if possible, squeeze your paint into the wells a couple of days before, so the paint has time to dry.)
Plastic water container with lid
Paper towels or tissue
